Ophthalmology and Surgical Institute of Central Pennsylvania

To offer our patients the most advanced care possible, we have created the Ophthalmology and Surgical Institute of Central Pennsylvania (OSI). OSI is a state-of-the-art surgery center conveniently located adjacent to our medical practice. OSI does not only focus on ophthalmic surgeries – but is also used by doctors who practice medicine in the areas of oculoplastics, orthopedics, podiatry and pain management/anesthesia.

Advancements in technology over the years have improved procedures, making surgeries easier and less time consuming. The high-tech environment and sophisticated equipment at OSI provides a highly effective and convenient alternative to common procedures. OSI offers the advanced technology of a hospital, while providing a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for patients. For most procedures, patients are not required to change out of their clothes. Dentures, prosthetics and hearing aids may remain in. For convenience and comfort, family members are allowed to stay with the patient during their time in both pre-op and recovery.

OSI is accredited by the Accreditation Associations for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

OSI offers a surgical environment to areas of medicine besides eye-care. They include:
